  • New Pricing for In-House Teams

Optimize Legal now provides discounted rates for in-house legal/HR/policy teams. For only $250/month, up to five users can access Optimize Employment or Optimize Pensions. See Pricing for more information.

“We understand that in-house teams tend to be smaller and more likely to use our legal information services for internal purposes only. So, we wanted to ensure accessibility to our legal information products and offer a special rate for in-house clients.”

    – Lesha Van Der Bij, CEO, Optimize Legal

With a subscription to Optimize Employment/Pensions, all of the developments in employment and labour and/or pension law – across Canada – will be at your fingertips.

Optimize Legal’s mission is to break down Canada’s statutes and regulations into manageable components. We want our customers to have ready access to the laws that are relevant to them – understanding how each law affects them, their organization and their clients.

  • Optimize Pensions Includes New Group Dashboard Functionality

Subscribers to Optimize Pensions can add and remove members in a new self-serve dashboard. By accessing the Group Dashboard, account owners can add members by simply entering the new member’s name and email address. To remove members, click “remove from group”.

“We wanted to make sure that our subscribers could add and remove members in real time. There’s no need to send an email to Optimize Legal and wait for the change to be made.”

    – Lesha Van Der Bij, CEO, Optimize Legal

Pensions and benefits is a niche area, requiring a depth of expertise. Optimize Pensions is the only resource that organizations need to stay on top of developments in pensions and benefits law.

  • Optimize Legal Launches Updated Websites

Optimize Legal has updated its signature legal information products – Optimize Employment and Optimize Pensions. The new user interface makes it even easier to stay up-to-date on labour, employment and pension law.

“While Optimize Employment and Optimize Pensions will continue to provide the same great content – hot off the press updates on labour, employment and pension law – the new look and feel enhances our subscribers’ experience when using the products.”

    – Lesha Van Der Bij, CEO, Optimize Legal

Both sites can now be accessed through a single, centralized platform. Simplified navigation makes it even easier for subscribers to zero in on the legal information that they need.

“When designing the new sites, we wanted to make Optimize Legal’s timely, comprehensive content the focus for subscribers. Once a user logs into Optimize Pensions or Optimize Employment, the newest updates are the first thing they see, with the sales and administrative information moved to the main website.”

  • More Ways to Customize Optimize Employment Updates

Optimize Employment now offers new ways for its subscribers to customize their email notifications. In addition to jurisdiction-specific feeds, subscribers can focus on select topics: Employment Standards or Health & Safety.

“We heard from our clients that they would like to be able to focus on certain topics. Employment Standards and Health & Safety were most often mentioned. So, our subscribers now have that option.”

    – Lesha Van Der Bij, CEO, Optimize Legal

Employment and labour law is continually changing. Staying on top of developments can be overwhelming. Optimize Employment makes it easy for law firms and businesses to monitor the changes that are relevant to them.

  • Optimize Legal Expands its Team

Optimize Legal is delighted to announce that Gayle Wadden will be joining its team as Chief Legal Officer. Gayle will be overseeing all legal research and content development, as well as internal legal matters.

“As Optimize Legal expands its suite of legal information products, we need a seasoned research expert. With her years of experience as a legal researcher and developer/provider of legal education programs, Gayle is the ideal person to lead content development.”

    – Lesha Van Der Bij, CEO

Gayle and Lesha began working together at a national law firm, practicing law in areas that are legislation-heavy, and developing extensive legal research experience. They saw first-hand how even seasoned lawyers struggle to understand legislation and stay on top of ongoing changes. Realizing that there must be a better way, they began leveraging automation to transform Canadian statutes and regulations into accessible legal information products.

“We want to simplify the process for tracking changes to the law and ensuring compliance.”
